With communication such a vital part of Rainbow Six Vegas’ gameplay, starting a clan and planning team strategies puts you at an enormous advantage above other players. Here’s how you can start your own clan, and begin to dominate the online game scene.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A PC, Xbox360, or PS3
  • A copy of Rainbow Six Vegas
  • An Xbox Live gold account for online play with an Xbox 360
  • A headset microphone
  • Friends who play Rainbow Six Vegas well
  1. Step 1

Talk with the people who you frequently see playing the game, but are not in a clan. Become friends with these people and try to play with them often. Basic networking skills work in this as in any sort of team building effort.

  2. Step 2

Share strategies on certain maps and with various weapon setups. Even if they don’t join your clan, you may learn something you didn’t already know.

  3. Step 3

After you amass a large enough group of online (and possible offline) friends who stick with the game, form up and settle on a clan tag.

  4. Step 4

Run practice matches between your clan members to build up skill and try out new strategies.

  5. Step 5

Try out those strategies against the most disorganized mass of players, and if you prove successful, you should try to take on other clans.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you’re serious about winning, you may want to test out new recruits before inviting them in. A lot of clans have try outs before you can join.
  • If you just want a casual group of friends to play with, starting a clan is still useful. Even if you don’t spend countless hours trying out different strategies, you’ll still see gameplay improvement by just knowing what the other members of the team are going to do.
