Your sweetheart bought you a rose or maybe even a dozen? Here are a few tips to keep them looking beautiful longer.

    How to keep your Valentine Roses alive longer

  1. Step 1

    Take your new flower or flowers and place the stem under luke warm.

  2. Step 2

    Take your scissor and on each rose cut 1/2 inch at an angel off while the stem is still under the running water.

  3. Step 3

    Do each rose like this.

  4. Step 4

    Fill your vase up with lukewarm water and place all newly cut roses into the vase.

  5. Step 5

    Finally you can throw a penny into the vase.

  6. Step 6

    Repeat this whole process every 4 days.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not forget to check water level daily in vase between cuttings.
  • Be careful when cutting stems.
