several easyish steps to look totally emo

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • black pencil eyeliner
  • scissors
  • hair down to your chin (bangs as well)
  • hair straightener
  • a punk T-shirt
  • Skinny jeans
  • something to cry about
  • an Aiden CD

Step1
The Hair:
In order to achieve emo hair you will need your bangs to be down to your chin. Part your hair to the side and hold your bangs one inch down from the root.
Step2
Cut a 45º angle to where your bangs end and cut the apropriate length on the rest. Plug in your straightener and straighten all of your hair and apply no product.
Step3
The Eyes:
Taking a PENCIL eye-liner (best the cheap one you can get at the 99 cent store becasue it's thick), put your left index finger on the far corner of your eye. Look up and apply a nice layer of eyeliner in one swipe. Do the same to the other lid and eye.
Step4
The Clothes:
Now that you have emo hair and eyes, take off that stupid prepy out fit and resort to skinny jeans and your punk, black T-hsirt.
Step5
The act:
Don't forget to cry and curse at people a lot. You can refer to hopeisemo.com for insperational material. I like the one with the cockroach
