How to Hire the right workers in your business

If you own your own business and would like to hire workers in your company consider the risks of hiring people who cannot speak English at all. Basic in English is good because workers will develop it later but hiring someone who cannot speak nor understand English at all won't give the right service to your customers as your business promise to do. Most especially if you hire a personnel to handle bill collections, most people are English speakers and talking to someone who do not speak English can lose your customers. It is not about being mean to other people but it is a reality to learn English in this country and develop speaking it while working. You hired non speaking English and do not get anything from what you said and then you finally fired them. They can file unemployment from you and you are responsible to pay them even if you fired them for not getting your instructions. If you do not want to deal those kinds of trouble why not hire someone who can do business in one language. Choose the right individuals who can contributes success in your company. Do not hire them because it is cheap to hire. Hire people because they are qualified to do the tasks. Some companies are taking granted with people who are desperate to get a job and paying them lower as required. Some of these workers or applicants are stealing someone's security numbers. Before hiring look at the consequences of your own actions. Go for qualified applicants and can serve people and communicate well. Communication is the core factor in successful business. Without good communications your customers will get a wrong message and apply it to their lives. Common sense and understanding in our community can make our relationships closer each other. I met an elderly woman in her 60's and she is talking something while she was holding a baby girl in her arms, I did not understand what she's talking about and cannot say a words to her either she needs help or what. So I stop and call for help because I think that she just asking about where to buy foods for the baby. I met her in the streets and if I could understand her words or if she could speak a little bit English I could have get what she's explaining about. So I made a signal to call a police but she walk away instead and I am thinking that she might be an illegal resident who need help because the baby was hungry not sure. I speak three languages and just for basic to communicate in emergency issues. You cannot just wonder anywhere without any notes in your hand in case you get lost somewhere. And you cannot find a church to keep you inside or keep you from police who will ask your identification. I am not against to people who cannot speak English but before hitting the road in war you need to equipped yourself if in case trouble comes along your way.
