Utah is one of the most beautiful states in the Union. With the red rocks and Moab, Temple Square and the Great Salt Lake, there is something for everyone in this scenic area. Ghost hunters won't be disappointed either as with most places, spirit people abound. Check out these locations next time you are visiting.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Park City Utah is well known for its ski hills, posh shops and restaurants, but there is an old prison there as well. Visitors have the opportunity to try on antique shackles and frequently report unseen hands stopping them from removing them. Spooky!
Step2
Brigham Young University in Provo has a beautiful campus, but the music section of the library has a bit more to offer. Moaning and whispering can be heard by students and in the Harp room you can view the "ghost chair" that some say just materialized from parts unknown.
Step3
The Armstrong Mansion in Salt Lake City is now a bed and breakfast where weird electrical anomalies occur and apparitions appear in the mirrors. Ask your hosts for more ghost stories.
Step4
While in Salt Lake City don't miss the chance to visit a grave at the cemetery around 1150 East and 335 North. Apparently there is a tombstone there for a woman named "Lily" that reads "victim of the beast 666." Scary!

Tips & Warnings

  • Always charge up your camera batteries before going ghost hunting.
  • Don't trespass. Be sure to only visit public places or get permission.
