Things You'll Need:
- 9 oz. sweet red wine
- 9 apple seed
- 9 basil leaves
- p cloves
- 9 drops of vanilla extract
- 9 drops of strawberry juice
- 9 drops of apple juice
- 9 small pieces of ginseng root
- 9 pink votive candles
- cauldron or cast iron pot
- wooden spoon

Step 1
By the light of 9 pink votive candles, put the nine ingredients into a cauldron or cast iron pot on the ninth hour of the ninth day of the ninth month of the year. Note: The "ninth" hour of the day is considered to be 9:00 a.m.

Step 2
Stir the potion nine times with a wooden spoon, each time reciting the following magickal incantation:
LET THE ONE WHO DRINKS THIS WINE
SHOWER ME WITH LOVE DIVINE.
SWEET LOVE POTION NUMBER NINE
MAKE HIS/HER LOVE FOREVER MINE. -
Step 3
Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat and let it simmer for nine minutes.

Freyja, depicted in a painting by J. Penrose.Remove the cauldron from the heat and allow the potion to cool off. Blow nine times upon the potion, and bless it in the names of nine love-goddesses: Inanna, Ishtar, Astarte, Hathor, Nephthys, Aphrodite, Venus, Freya, Arianrhod.

Strain the potion through cheesecloth into a clean container. Cover and refrigerate it until you are ready to serve it to the man or woman from whom you desire love and affection.

on 4/25/2008 That's the thing about potions and spells, most things needed (such as the ninth month at the ninth hour) can be substituted. Most things specified in spells are there for maximum potency. So if you could do it on the ninth day at the ninth hour, I'm sure it will be very strong, just not AS strong.
Also, make sure your cauldron is okay for cooking and the like. Some are only for non-food use only. Maybe if you can choose a special pot you will use only for spellwork, that would be best.
