Are you tired of paying crazy prices for lousy cable or dish service? Do what I did and turn to the internet for help!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • DSL, cable or faster connection to the internet
  • WIN 98 or newer OS
  • Media Player

Step1
Figure out where to go on the web. All of the major television networks have a large web presence. Usually all you have to do is inter the network name followed by ".com" into your browsers address bar and that will take you to their site.
Step2
Learn how to find the "full episode" links on the major network sites. When you go to a television network's website, you want to look for the key words: "full episodes online". Most of the sites have short outtake clips from their shows and movie reviews. It can be frustrating when you click on a link for your favorite show and it turns out being a preview or commercial. Therefore, you always want to look for the links that advertise: "view full episode now!" or something similar.
Step3
Bookmark your favorite links to full episodes of shows or movies. When you find a link to the show that you want to see, then add the link address to your list of favorites. You can do this by simply clicking on the address in the address bar and dragging it to the "My Favorites" button in your browsers toolbar. You can also click and drag the link to your desktop and sort it out later.
Step4
Now add all of your links to shows and/or movies to an easy to use interactive list. You can use your favorite html editor or, for those of us that don't know html, you can use your best word processor. In most word processors, all you need to do is make a list of the shows you want to watch and follow the name of the show with the link address. Most word processors will allow you to then click on that link and it will take you to the site.

Tips & Warnings

  • If all this sounds like a lot of work and you want an easy way out, there are a lot of people that have already done it. All you have to do is use their list. There are also professionally created software that you can buy that allows you to watch thousands of television programs and movies over the internet.
  • a lot of the professionally created software or web pages that allow you to watch TV over the internet are expensive and there are reasonably priced ones available (links to be added). Also the links on the internet frequently change as a broadcasters programming changes.
