Stains happen all the time. Sometimes, we have no idea where these stains come from. Although, when one has a toddler, there is your answer. More likely than not, your toddler is the culprit of any or all stains on your family room carpet. Here is what I do to remove stains that found their way to my once-clean family room carpet.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Cleaning solution
  • Rag

Step1
Stain cleaner and cloth I use to clean my carpet Cleaning stains off your family room carpet is time-consuming and difficult to accomplish. Finding the right cleaning product or agent that works best can be hard to find.
Step2
Pet stain cleaning product If you have a pet, you probably already have a carpet stain remover you purchased from your local or chain pet supply store. This is the case with my cleaning any and all stains off my family room carpet; I found something from a pet store that works wonders.
Step3
Spraying pet carpet cleaner on carpet stains All I can think of is the enzymes in this product attacks the stain all the way to where the stain begins and ends. This carpet cleaner is not just for pet stains but is a multipurpose stain cleaner--even for your family room carpet, where all your stains probably end up.
Step4
Once the carpet cleaner is sprayed on all the stains you can find on your family room carpet, let the cleaner sit for 2 to 5 minutes so the cleaner will attack the stain. After 2 to 5 minutes, take your cloth and begin rubbing the stain out.
Step5
Cleaned carpet now looks brand new Now, right before your eyes, the stains are gone and you cannot believe it. Yes, you have finally found a product, really made for cats, that cleans any and all stains that find their way to your family room carpet.
Step6
Wow, who knew a cat carpet cleaner would actually clean your family room carpet? This has to be one of the best-kept secrets for household cleaning.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you have babies or toddlers, do not allow them to get hold of this cleaning product. Even if the product you use claims to be all natural, that does not mean it would be safe for your babies.

on 2/24/2008 This will definatly come in handy. I have some foaming carpet spot cleaner that you leave for 15 minutes and then vacuum up. It works ok, but i don't know if I'd buy it again. This might be better.
