How to Polish a Shoe - Men's

Shine your shoes like a professional and feel like a million bucks!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Shoe Shine Box
• Lint Free Cloth for cleaner
• Leather Cleaner
• 100% Horse Hair Brush
• Shoe Polish of cooresponding color to shoes
• Shoe Polish Applicator Brush
• Lint Free Polishing Cloth
• Sole Dressing
• Cedar Shoe Trees

1. Use a shoe shine box to position shoes or wear shoes while treating.
2. Use a lint free cloth and wipe down shoes with leather cleaner to remove any superficial dirt. Let dry.
3. With a soft cloth or applicator brush apply shoe polish. Let dry for approximately 5 minutes.
4. Brush shoes with horse hair brush.
5. In a side to side motion, buff shoes with soft lint free polishing cloth.
6. Apply sole dressing to heels and edges of soles. Let dry.
7. Store shoes on cedar shoe trees.

Tips & Warnings

• Have separate brushes and clothes for black and brown shoes.
• Do not get sole dressing on tops of shoes as it may stain.
