Everyone loves getting magazines for free. Many magazine companies will offer a free copy as an incentive to get you to buy a subscription, others offer several issues for free or even a full free year. Usually these deals require that you purchase a subscription so that, in essence, you are getting two years for the price of one. But did you know that there are many companies out there that are just dying to give you a full free subscription to their magazines with no catch and no gimmicks? Let me tell you how you can get the magazines you love for absolutely no cost whatsoever.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • Time
  • Patience

Step1
Get 100's of free magazines at http://www.all-freemagazines.com. Instead of filling out a form for every magazine you are interested in, only to find out you don't qualify for a free issue, this site tells you which magazines you qualify for as you fill out the form.
Step2
Watch short video ads in exchange for a free magazine subscription. Adperk has put a modern twist on the get paid to view ads model as they offer some free magazines for watching short video ads. Be careful though, because not all of their magazines are free and are only discounted. According to Adperk, you select an offer you wish to participate in and then you are taken to a library of relevant branded videos. Each video represents credits that can be applied toward the corresponding reward offer. You then watch the video and when you are finished, you enter the word verification and credits are applied to your account. Once you've earned enough credits, you are directed to a checkout page and your reward is mailed to you. http://adperk.com/
Step3
Go to About.com/Freebies for a list of magazines that are giving away free subscriptions. http://freebies.about.com/od/magazinesubs/Free_Magazine_Subscriptions.htm
Step4
Liz Claiborne Inc. is offering a free subscription to Liz Is magazine when you register. Visit the Liz Is site and click on the subscribe now link. Fill out the request form. http://www.lizismagazine.com/
Step5
Go to Volition.com, supposedly the oldest Free Stuff site on the Internet. Scroll down to the Volition FREE STUFF section and click. Then click on the "Free Magazines" section. Some magazines offer free trials while others are completely free. They offer subscriptions to magazines on subjects such as health and wellness, business, vacation, travel, entrepreneur...you get the picture.
Step6
Go for Free Trade Magazines & Technical Document Downloads at http://www.all-freemagazines.tradepub.com. Take a look at their extensive list of free Business, Computer, Engineering and Trade magazines, white papers, downloads and podcasts to find the titles that best match your skills and interests. Topics include management, marketing, operations, sales, and technology. Simply complete the application form and submit it. All are absolutely free to professionals who qualify.
Step7
Go to http://magazines.yotta.com. They have a list of magazines that offer free subscriptions and free trial issues. This is not the biggest list I've seen, but for each link they provide, they give a description or comments about the magazine, a subscription address and phone number, frequency of publication and distribution limitation. The types of magazines and number of titles in each category at this site are: Computer Magazines - 98,
Non-Computer Magazines - 120, Electronic Magazines (e-zines) - 2, Free Trial Issues - 1.
Step8
Go to Shopmags.com. Her you can get a free subscription with every two subscriptions you pay for. They supposedly have 200 discount magazine titles and you can order today and pay in 30 days.
Step9
Google it! Type in free magazines, free magazine subscriptions, free ezines, free articles, free baby magazines,... and you will see a whole host of free magazines sites appear right before your eyes.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remember to fill out the forms COMPLETELY.
  • Never pay for something that is supposed to be free.
  • Get a new email address on gmail, yahoo, or hotmail just for registering for your free magazines. That way, your normal email box won't get flooded with spam.
  • Be aware that some of the magazines offered only give you a discount on a subscription instead of a totally free subscription. If you are not careful, you will find out that you will be billed for half (or some other percentage) of the subscription cost.
  • Be aware that when you register for something free, you will receive some spam in return.
  • Remember that if you sign up for a free trial offer, you have to cancel within the specified time frame or you will be billed.
  • Only request once for each free offer. To do otherwise is not only greedy and unfair to others, it is considered fraud and can get you into legal trouble.
