She's a stunning beauty, an accomplished actress and a dedicated humanitarian. She's Nicole Kidman, and if you want to be like her (or at least as much as we mere mortals can be like her), then please read on.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Nicole's hair Think of her gorgeous hair. While she started her career as a curly redhead and is now a strawberry blonde, the one thing that is always consistent about her hair is how shiny and healthy it always looks. To get your hair in such great shape, make sure to deep-condition it often and get rid of split ends. If you color your hair, make sure to maintain the roots. You would NEVER see Nicole with an inch of roots showing, and neither should you!
Step2
Nicole's skin Notice her porcelain skin. The best way to make your skin look just as lovely is to always use sunscreen, and when in direct sunlight, wear a hat. When wearing makeup, keep it to a minimum. Be like Nicole on her not-working days and just wear sunscreen, foundation, mascara and lipstick. Also, make sure to remove your makeup before you go to bed. Not doing so clogs your pores and can bring on blemishes.
Step3
Nicole's clothes Follow her fashion. She's worn just about every designer from Chanel to Valentino, and she always looks incredible. While you don't have to spend thousands of dollars on your wardrobe or dress just like Nicole to look good, do look for clothes in your size and price range that fit you well and fit your own style. The idea is not to dress exactly like Nicole but to find your own style. Also try to experiment with your look. Read fashion magazines and try to incorporate a couple of the current looks into your wardrobe.
Step4
Nicole tall and proud Stand tall. At almost 5 feet 11 inches, Nicole always stands tall and proud. Even when she was married to Tom Cruise, who was about 5 inches shorter, she never slouched (she just wore shorter heels). Look in a mirror and take note of your posture. Stand with your weight mostly on the balls of your feet, not with weight on the heels. Let your arms hang naturally down the sides of the body. Tuck your chin in a little to keep your head level, and be sure your head is square on top of your neck and spine and not pushed out forward.
Step5
Nicole poised Remain poised. Be it an awards show, walking the red carpet or giving an interview, Nicole is always extremely poised. With a little practice, it is possible to be more graceful. A good way to feel more poised and graceful is to be conscious of your body as you move around during the day. Try to make your movements slower and a little more deliberate. Consider taking ballet or yoga classes. Either will make you attuned to how your body moves and make you more relaxed and therefore more graceful. They're also great forms of exercise!
Step6
Nicole confident Boost your confidence. With all Nicole has going for her, it wouldn't really matter if she didn't have confidence in herself. You can be the most beautiful woman in the world, but if you're full of self-doubt, that beauty will never shine through. Throughout the day, make a conscious decision to love yourself no matter what someone may say to you or how indifferent they may seem to you. It may sound corny, but when you love yourself, that is truly the greatest love of all!
Step7
Nicole and her Oscar Find your passion. Nicole has many passions in her life, but her greatest passion is her acting. In your own life, try to find things that make you feel passionate. Start writing that book you were always thinking about writing. Take photography classes or dancing classes. Whatever it is, find something that drives you and feeds your soul.
Step8
Nicole horseback riding Challenge yourself. Nicole is known as being a bit of a daredevil. She has tried skydiving, climbing trees and scaling mountains. You don't need to jump off a building to be adventurous, but do try to challenge yourself. Maybe take up running and then try running a marathon. Or if you're afraid of public speaking, take a public speaking class and then volunteer at work to make that important presentation. Whatever it is, try to do something that you've never done before, that you've always been a little afraid to do and that maybe deep down, you've always wanted to do. It will definitely pay off in the end.
Step9
Nicole speaking at a charity event Be charitable. Nicole is involved in many charitable organizations that are very important to her. She has been a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF Australia since 1994. She has worked to help raise money for and draw attention to the plight of the most disadvantaged children in Australia and around the world. In 2004, she was honored as a "Citizen of the World" by the United Nations. You don't have to be charitable on such a grand scale. Just a little bit of giving will do. Give to a charity that is important to you, and donate to it every few months. Or better yet, do your giving closer to home. Give a homeless person some money or food, volunteer at a soup kitchen or hospital or just be there for someone in their time of need. Remember, it isn't how much you give but the act of giving that matters most.

Tips & Warnings

  • Take note of Nicole's love life. While she has finally found love with Keith Urban, she did get her heart terribly broken by Tom Cruise. As a lesson, while there may be no way to avoid getting hurt, do make sure you get to know your partner extremely well before you commit.
