  1. Step 1

    Decide what kind of business you would like to own.
    You could run a service, create an eBay store, or become an entrepreneur. These are just a few, but there are loads more. Just think creative.

  2. Step 2

    Learn about it.
    After you have accomplished the first step, learn as much as possible. Fill your head with anything about the subject that you've chosen. Are there any laws that would apply to your business? Do you need any sort of license?

  3. Step 3

    Plan ahead.
    Devise a plan. Write down every action that you will need to take to get your business into motion. Be sure that there will be no harsh consequences for any of those actions. Once you have formed a plan that you're comfortable with, you will be ready to make your move.

  4. Step 4

    Make your move.
    See your plan through. Follow every step. Make sure not to miss any. Once you have accomplish your goal, there will be only one thing left to do. Take step 5 of this How To.

    Sit back, put your feet up, and relax.

on 12/2/2008 Running a business requires MUCH more than putting your feet up and relaxing.... it's hours (moreso than most full times jobs) of hard work, dedication, and sheer willpower...
