1. Go to a company’s official website. Almost any company that sells merchandise will have contests or sweepstakes. Whether it be a food manufacturer, professional sports franchise or clothing store, you’re almost guaranteed to find sweepstakes at these official websites.
2. Buy products that offer online sweepstakes. The most well-known sweepstakes of this nature can be found on different types of sodas. For example, if you purchase a 2-liter bottle of soda, the bottle cap may have a special code on the inside of it. If you go to the company’s website, they’ll be a place where you can insert that code.
3. Pay special attention to advertisements throughout the year. Many times, companies will hold online contests during special times of the year, such as Christmas. What’s great about these contests is that they’re only available by going online. Many times, people will either not want to go through the process of entering these or they’ll feel that there is no chance of winning. This means that fewer people enter these online contests, thus increasing your chance of winning.
4. Visit the official websites of local radio stations. If your local radio station has an official website, there is probably an online contest that can be found on that website. Through my experience, I’ve found that the radio stations often do not advertise these contests. This once again increases your chances of winning.
5. Visit the website for Online Sweepstakes (see Resources below). This website lists thousands of different online sweepstakes.
6. Once you are at this website, you will find that you have many different choices. You can search for sweepstakes based upon when they were posted online, how many times you can enter the particular sweepstakes or what type of prize you can win.
7. Once you make your selection, you will be taken to another link. Here you will find direct links to the actual sweepstakes. You can select whichever appeal to you.
