Things You'll Need:
- 2 cups of self-rising flour
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 cup of cooking oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 small jars of apricot baby food
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
- 1 cup pecans, chopped

Step 1
Grind the cinnamon and nutmeg separately and chop the pecans.

Mix the flour, sugar, oil, eggs, baby food, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large mixing bowl, then beat the mixture at a low setting with an electric mixer. The dry ingredients should only just get moistened. Then, beat the ingredients for 2 minutes at the high setting and stir in the pecans.

Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan and spoon the batter into this.

Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350 degrees until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
