Things You'll Need:
- 1 pound of ground hamburger meat
- 1 globe onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoon jalapeño pepper, chopped
- 1 small can green beans
- 1 regular can diced tomatoes (not drained)
- 1 regular can carrots (fresh will do)
- 2 medium-sized potatoes, chopped
- 1 regular can creamed corn
- season salt
- sea salt
- freshly-ground black pepper to taste
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- dash of hot pepper sauce
- 2 or more cups water

Step 1
Chop the onion, bell pepper, jalapeño pepper and potatoes and grind the black pepper.

Sauté the onion and brown the ground meat in a deep saucepan then drain.

Introduce the green pepper to the pan with the drained onion and meat.

Add the rest of the vegetables with the spices and water and cook at between 150 and 300 degrees.

Season to taste.

After cooking for at least 20 minutes, add creamed corn to thicken. (Naturally, you should add more water if you want something that's “soupier”).
