How to Prepare Lemon Soup

You probably never thought of lemon as an ingredient for soup, but it actually works very well.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons of basmati rice
  • 6 cups of chicken stock
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups of water
  1. Step 1

    Beat the eggs into a froth, then introduce the lemon juice.

  2. Step 2

    Simmer the rice in the stock and water for 20 minutes, then place the pot on a trivet.

  3. Step 3

    Pour ½ of the soup into the eggs, stir well, then pour in the rest of the soup and serve.
