    Join a networking group. Make friends with other single moms.
    Try meetup.com.

  2. Step 2

    Find a good and reliable babysitter. This will come in handy for a "mom's night out".

  3. Step 3

    Swap babysitting with other single moms you know well and trust.

  4. Step 4

    Plan get-togethers around kid activities. For example, take the kids ice skating while you have coffee with a friend and catch up on the latest.
