The biggest tip in almost always staying organized is to keep it simple.

  • Planner
  • Good time-management skills
  1. Step 1

    Go through your mail everyday. Toss out the junk mail. Organize your bills and other important mail.

  2. Step 2

    Have some kind of planner. It can be electronic or the good old-fashioned paper and pen type.

  3. Step 3

    Evaluate items you have not used over a year. Donate or store items you will not be using. This will help keep your living or work space free of clutter.

  4. Step 4

    Have a realistic "to do" list. Do not overload yourself. This leads me to the next tip.

  5. Step 5

    Learn to say "no". This will reduce stress and teach you to organize and prioritize your life.
