Trim your Cats claws easily! This is very simple and saves your furniture from wear and tear!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Nail clippers or Small sharp scissors, emery board. Maybe a towel to wrap kitty in.
  1. Step 1

First you'll need to sit in a chair or low stool ( I close the lid on the toilet and use that to sit on). Have the scissors and emery board already laid out along with a towel. Get Kitty and gently wrap it in the towel.

  2. Step 2

Take the paw you are going to work on out and gently press on the back of the paw at the individual claw you want to trim. The claw will extend and upon close inspection you will see that there is the nail and it is clear.
Clip off just a small amount of nail ,watching that you don't get too close to the pink part that is inside the nail. Don't cut too deep or you may injure the cat.

  3. Step 3

After you have trimmed the tips of the nail, get out emery board and maybe give the cat just a little file of the nails.
And Voila, you have saved going to the pet salon.

Tips & Warnings
  • Cutting too deep ( the pink area is vein and skin)can injure your animal.
