If you have a blog in Typepad or Blogger or some other host and you would like to make your blog easier to access with a new domain, read on to learn how to point your blog at your new domain name.

1. Buy your new domain name. You can buy them at Godaddy and a lot of other sites. You can even get one at blogger. I bought awstories.com.

2. Go to the site where you registered your domain and log in.

3. Go to the "Domain Management" section.

4. Go to "Forward Domain."

5. Enter your long blog name, for example, awstories.blogspot.com.

6. Now when someone types your new domain, awstories.com, it will automatically go to your long name, awstories.blogspot.com.

• You shouldn't pay more than $10 for a domain name.
