Here is a quick and easy card to make for Valentine's Day. The rubber stamps and other supplies are from Stampin Up! with the exception of the rhinestones, which can be bought at a craft store. Heart stamps and card stock of course are also readily available at craft stores.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Card Stock in the following colors: Purely Pomegranate (a deep pinkish-red), Very Vanilla
  • Purely Pomegranate ink pad
  • Forever in My Heart stamp set
  • Pink Self-Adhesive Rhinestones
  • Bone folder (optional)
  • Paper cutter or scissors
  • Double-sided tape or glue
  • Foam tape

Step1
Measure and cut the Very Vanilla card stock. You will need one piece about 5 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches. You can use the leftovers for stamping the hearts.
Step2
Fold the card stock in half, using the bone folder for the crease if desired.
Step3
Stamp the hearts onto your leftover Very Vanilla paper. You will need two of the large heart in the stamp set. Stamp two copies of the heart with the border around it (one has the border cut out in the final product). Stamp one copy of the heart with the word "love" in it.
Step4
Cut out the hearts, as shown in the final product. You will leave the dotted border around one of the hearts and also leave a bit of the white square around the heart with the word "love" in it.
Step5
Cut out Purely Pomegranate squares to go behind the "love" heart (about 1 inch on each side) and the heart with the border (about 1 3/4 inches on each side).
Step6
Affix the Purely Pomegranate squares to the back of the "love" and border hearts with glue or double-sided tape.
Step7
Affix the self-adhesive rhinestones to one lobe of the big hearts.
Step8
Affix all of the hearts to the front of the card as shown with foam tape.
