You’re looking for something to wear to an interview, a date, or maybe a wedding. Point is, you don’t have the suit because you are on limited funds or maybe you just don’t normally wear professional style clothes every day. Follow these steps to find well-tailored clothes for less.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Local newspaper
  1. Step 1

Check for sales at department stores. There is never a need to pay full price. Stores always have discounts.

  2. Step 2

Check the second-hand and consignment stores. These are popular today so there are many around. Consequently, you will be able to find bargains and very fine clothes. Suits for both men and women that are donated to these stores usually are name brand. As such, these clothes hold up well and should be in very good shape.

  3. Step 3

Go online. Because of the Internet, people buy and sell everything and anything. Plenty of bargains there.

  4. Step 4

Buy brand new shoes. Shoes make the outfit; consequently, any money you save with your clothes should be used for the shoes. Nonetheless, you can find bargains at many warehouse-type or going-out-of business stores. Check your local department and big box retailers as well.

If you don’t always wear these types of clothes, it isn’t necessary to buy $100 shoes. But they should be cleaned and polished.

Tips & Warnings
  • Start early; frequent shops as often as possible to be able to know when new product is laid out. The good stuff always goes first.
  • Never buy used undergarments.
