For many, March Madness is the best time of the year for sports. Maybe you’re a big fan of March Madness; but your wife doesn’t share your enthusiasm. Read on to learn how to get your wife into March Madness, too.

From Quick Guide: ACC Tournament Guide
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Explain the NCAA Tournament to your wife. Maybe your wife isn’t a fan of March Madness because she’s not familiar with how the NCAA Tournament works. If this is the case, give her some generic information on the tournament.

  2. Step 2

Tell your wife about some historic events that have happened during March Madness. There may be nothing more exciting than watching a “Cinderella Team” make its way through the NCAA Tournament. Let your wife know about a few of these teams.

  3. Step 3

If possible, take your wife to some college basketball games. College basketball games have a much different atmosphere than can be found at NBA games. If you could take your wife to a game during the NCAA Tournament, that's even better.

  4. Step 4

Watch some of the conference championship games with your wife. These games are a great preview of the upcoming NCAA Tournament and are also provide some exciting moments.

  5. Step 5

Have your wife fill out a bracket for the NCAA Tournament. March Madness is all about the brackets. If your wife is new to college basketball, be willing to give her some information about the teams involved in the tournament. However, let her fill out her own bracket. Only help her fill out her bracket if she asks you to do so.

  6. Step 6

Skip work during the first Thursday and Friday of March Madness and watch the games with your wife. This way you both can follow your brackets without the pesky interruptions that come from being at the office. Of course, you should only do this if you have vacation days available.
