Males actually talk to one another, and sports is not our universal topic. Women long for their male companion to be the strong, silent type. They often wonder why he does not share his feelings with them. Most males have feelings to share but do not feel comfortable sharing them with their partner. Here are some tips to loosen up your male partner.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Take him off the witness stand. No argument, women are expert communicators. They practiced their Q & A skills on their friends, so they are in talk mode all the time. Men are afraid to say too much, because the wrong comment will get them in trouble.

  2. Step 2

Let him decompress from his workday. Women tend to circle the wagons, as their loved one walks in the front door. The last thing a male wants to do is talk in detail about their day. After spending a day of serving others, males want to take care of themselves before taking on other demands.

  3. Step 3

Guys are more comfortable with actions than feelings. Rather than talking about how he "feels" often males would rather express their love by changing your oil or bringing home flowers. Males are great communicators at work due to the practical environment they work in. Let him get into work mode to express his love to you. Guys would rather plan next summer's vacation then profess his love in a poem to you.

  4. Step 4

Guys do no want to be put on the spot. Silence by the male equates to more questions from the female. Men simply prefer not to relate their confusing feelings because they are not sure how to understand their own emotions themselves.
