Feng Shui (Feng - Wind; Shui - Water) is a popular way to help one decorate their place, increase their chances in love and success and other ways to help improve their lives. Feng Shui is easy to use in decorating as long as you understand a few simple concepts.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Chi - This is the main component of Feng Shui. Chi is an energy force that needs to be able to move freely in order for good things to happen. It brings positive energy into your living space.

  2. Step 2

The main tool is the Ba-Gua. The Ba-Gua is a map that shows how Chi flows through our place (or how it's suppose to flow through it). You can find a copy of the map by using the links below. The nine areas, in order, are: Career, Relationship, Ancestors, Wealth, Health, Helpful People, Children, Knowledge and Fame.

  3. Step 3

One of the basic aspect of Feng Shui is the Five Elements (Wood, Earth, Fire, Metal, Water). Each corresponds to a different area of the house. Wood = Ancestors and Wealth; Earth = Relationship, Knowledge and Health; Fire = Fame; Metal = Children and Helpful People; and Water = Career.
