After a bankruptcy you will find yourself relying on your cash. Sometimes you will not have that cash available so you need to rely on credit. Here is what you can do to establish credit.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Patience

Step1
You will often hear not to do this step but take it from someone who has recovered from a bankrunpcy in less than 3 years . Apply for a secured credit card. Do not waste your time following other alternatives. Many financial companies advise on only doing this as the last resort. This most likely will be your only resort for a credit card. Exploring other alternatives is a waste of time and will frustrate you even more.
Step2
Charge everything to the credit card without going over the limit. Pay the balance every month.
Step3
Open a savings account. Start saving even if it is a samll amount every month. Do not get money out of that account. Let it grow.
Step4
Read "How to clean your credit report for free' on eHow. Follow those steps outlined in this article. It works. http://www.ehow.com/how_2186869_clean-credit-report-free.html
