How to Prepare Shiitake Mushroom Sauce

Shiitake mushroom sauce is standard sauce for use with beef.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup of shiitake mushrooms
  • 2 cups of beef stock
  • 4 tablespoons of shortening
  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly-ground pepper
  1. Step 1

    Grind the pepper.

  2. Step 2

    Mix the beef stock, shortening and flour and stir.

  3. Step 3

    Shake some salt and pepper over the mixture, then introduce the shiitake mushrooms.

  4. Step 4

    Sauté all this for five minutes.
