Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- 1 pint of sea scallops
- Slab bacon
- 3 tablespoons of garlic butter
- Sea salt
- Freshly-ground pepper
- Bread
- Bell peppers
Step1
Grind the pepper, trim and slice the bacon and toast the bread. Cut off the stems from the peppers, cut out the centers and remove the seeds and membranes. Chop the peppers into bite-sized chunks.
Step2
Place the scallops and peppers in a saucepan and sauté them in butter.
Step3
Stick the scallops, peppers and bacon on metal or wooden skewers and dust with salt and pepper.
Step4
Broil in the oven for 15 minutes at 475 degrees.
Step5
Using a fork, push the scallops and bacon off the skewers and place them on the toast.
