There will undoubtedly be times when you will desire to contact a company that you feel has wronged you. There is a right and a wrong way to go about this. Here is how to contact a company you are unhappy with.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Before you actually begin the process of contacting the company, write detailed notes about the specific problem you are having with this particular company. This will help you to keep all of the facts about your problem with the company in mind as well as prepare you for your contact with the company.
Step2
Find the toll free customer service telephone number for the company. This should be your first contact, as the customer service department of the company is specifically there to assist unhappy customers.
Step3
Calmly discuss the situation with the customer service representative. Remember that the person on the other line did nothing to wrong you. That person is doing his job by listening to your complaints regarding the company.
Step4
Regardless of whether the problem has been solved over the phone, take note of the name of the customer service representative. You should also write down the date and time of the phone call.
Step5
If you feel that your problem has not been solved after contacting the customer service department, do not give up. Search for the website of this company.
Step6
Once you are on the website, you should be able to find an email address for customer service.
Step7
Send the company an email regarding your situation. In the email, describe why you are unhappy with the company. Be sure to describe your phone call to customer service and also why you felt that your phone call left the situation unresolved.
