For many people, oysters are a delicacy eaten specifically in trusted restaurants, and never even considered in a home-cooked meal. However, there are many great ways to prepare oysters on your own. Here's an easy, quick way to make Diamond Jim's Sauteed oysters that will come off tasting like a rich entrée.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 24 bluepoint oysters
  • Butter
  • Crackers
  • Sea salt
  • Freshly-ground pepper
Step1
Grind the pepper and crumble up the crackers.
Step2
Put the oysters in a sieve until they are thoroughly drained. Add pepper and salt to taste and dredge in the crumbs.
Step3
Heat up the butter in a saucepan and introduce the oysters, browning once on each side. Allow them to drain on paper towels.
