In a small bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup with dijon mustard. Spoon the mixture over the chicken making sure to coat well.
Step3
Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Top all chicken with the slices of swiss cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes until the swiss cheese is melted. Remove from oven and serve.

Tips & Warnings

  • You may season the chicken breasts after placing each breast in the dish. Any seasoning you desire.
  • If you wish to have a more heartier dish, you can prepare a box of stuffing mix and then place it over top of the chicken just before adding the swiss cheese. You can also add frozen vegetables to the baking dish just before it is initially placed in the oven.
  • Deli sliced swiss cheese usually offers the best flavor with this dish, however you may use pre sliced packaged swiss cheese from the dairy section if you desire.
  • Make sure the chicken is cooked through. Chicken breasts are usually cooked through when they reach 165 degrees with a meat thermometer.
  • If the swiss cheese slices are very thick, they may take longer to melt all the way through.
