How to hook up laptop to a external monitor

Things You’ll Need:

• Lap Top
• External Monitor
• Serial Monitor Cabel

1. Find the VGA connector on the back of the laptop.
2. Connect one end of the cable to laptop on VGA connector shown above and other end to the external monitor. It is very self explanatory when you will look at the cable. There is only one way you can connect both ends of the connector so there is no chance to be wrong.
3. Turn on the monitor and the laptop. Look at all the F keys on the monitor and you will find the F key with the symbol of two monitors on it. Press F key with the symbol of two monitor and you will start to see pictures on the external monitor rather than broken screen of a laptop. Its very rear that you will need driver but if you do require driver go to google and type the company name of the monitor and insert word driver infront of it.
