Apart from foxes, snakes are the most wanted culprits in the animal kingdom for egg-stealing. That can become a daily habit that takes money away from the pockets of poultry farmers. Snakes avoid poultry because it is an even fight that might result in the snake's demise. They sneak into the farm when there is less activity, especially before noon.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Boiled eggs
  • Attention to detail
  1. Step 1

Find the route of the snake as it enters the poultry farm. It is easier than it seems. It is normally through cracks and holds near where the hens lay their eggs.

  2. Step 2

Boil several eggs to hardened forms. Place the eggs where the hens lay their eggs.

  3. Step 3

When the snake swallows the boiled egg, it does not crack like the fresh one. It gets stuck.

  4. Step 4

Choose to kill it or send it to animal control.
