How to Pick a Career You Love

When you spend so much of your life at work, you should try to figure out what you really love to do.

1. Make a list of things you like to do. What are some of the hobbies that bring you great joy?

2. Make a career at doing the things you enjoy. Perhaps you love gardening. Have you thought about working at a nursery or a landscaping company?

3. Find out what some of your friends do for a living, talk to them about their careers. Ask them what they love about it, what they dislike about it and if they've ever thought about doing anything else.

4. Check out websites that will give you some careers to investigate for yourself after answering some personality questions.
