    2-The smallest size of most hot drinks is a "short".
    3-Starbucks gives refills of regular coffee for around 50 Cents!
    4-They give out coupons for free drinks of any size/any choice when you have to wait or have a bad experience there!

    Find your local FREESTANDING Starbucks. If it is in a mall or a bookstore these tricks may not be available, but you are welcomed to try.

    *Order a "short" coffee, latte, etc.
    *Order any drink and hand them your travel mug
    *Order any drink you want, pay for it full price, keep the cup and come back later that day, or tomorrow for a refill of regular coffee!

on 9/22/2008 If you throw a fit in a corporate store every time, in the interest in getting free drinks, they actually might throw you out of the store and ask you not to come back. I have seen it happen to someone who throws a fit everyday.
