How to Create a Freelance Writer Resume
Your resume is a marketing tool to showcase your writing experience. Many companies will ask to see your writing samples and a resume in response to an advertisement. Your resume needs to be professional and informative, and it needs to sell your qualifications. The key is to keep it short and focused -- most freelance employers are hiring for a specific task, not for long-term, full-time work, so focus your Objectives section as much as possible on the job that is available and concentrate the rest of your resume on experiences that are relevant to that job.

Thanks Mo. I'm currently just starting out as a full-time writer and this will help me land more gigs. I've tried doing a traditional resume and it ends of being way too long! -

Great ideas! Not only should a resume fit the field you work in but the job you are applying for. If you ask for a at home job list your previous at home jobs and so on.
