Step 1
Start with lunch at a trendy restaurant like Nobu. This Japanese restaurant is known for the many celebrity sightings as well as excellent food. Go for a late lunch or dinner for a better chance of getting a table.

Step 2
If you hate sushi but still want to see a celeb hangout with pretty good food, check out the Tribeca Grill. It is owned by Robert DeNiro.

Step 3
At night, check out a show at the Knitting Factory. This place has been around for twenty years and is great for checking out a new band or coming to hear a favorite established one, from Mates of State to GZA performing Liquid Swords. There are two stages and a record store for people who still buy their music in stores. Truly a New York treasure.
