Feel the rush of the wind without having to hurl your body towards the ground at 125 miles per hour. If skydiving seems fun but a little too risky, there is another option: an indoor skydiving simulation. Read on to learn more.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Goggles
  • A helmet
  • Elbow and knee pads
  • Earplugs
  • Jumpsuit
  1. Step 1

Find a skydiving simulator near you. There are several across the United States, including Orlando, Colorado and Las Vegas.

  2. Step 2

Once you find an indoor skydiving company, sign up for a session. The price varies, but should cost around $50.

  3. Step 3

Once customers are outfitted in skydiving gear, which includes goggles, a helmet, pads, earplugs and a jumpsuit they’ll begin training. The instructor teaches hand signals and movements that are important in order to achieve the best possible flight.

  4. Step 4

Get ready to fly! Your cheeks will ripple, just as if you were thousands of feet above the ground while 200 horsepower jet engines help you soar.

Tips & Warnings
  • Many indoor skydiving companies offer to video your flight for a small fee.
  • The flight simulation typically lasts as long as two or three real skydiving jumps.
