Things You'll Need:
- 2 (8oz) cans sliced pineapples
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup meelted butter or margarine
- 1 cup finely ground nuts (you can use walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts, other nuts of your choice)
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 9X13 inch pan

Step 1
Drain pineapple and reserve 2 tablespoons of the juice.

Step 2
Mix 1/4 cup melted butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar.
Pour in the bottom of the 9X13 inch pan. -
Step 3
Place pineapples slices in a single layer in the bottom of the pan.

Cream butter until fluffy.
Add sugar, reserved pineapple juice and vanilla extract and baking powder.
Mix well. -
Step 5
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each one.

Step 6
Add ground nuts. Pour batter into pan on top of pineapple slices.

Step 7
Put pan into preheated 350 degree oven and bake for apx 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow cake to cool for 15-20 minutes.
After cake cools, invert onto a serving plate.
