The ollie, the mother of all tricks. These instructions will tell you the basic to the ollie.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • skateboard
  • helmet
  • open mind

Step1
First you will need your skateboard. Put the skateboard on the ground.
Step2
Next stand on the board with your back foot on the tip of the end of the board. Your back foot should only have your toes on the board. Your front foot should be at a 90% angle. The placement of your front foot should be close to the bolts.
Step3
The jump part now. Wile stationary or moving bend your nee' s down. The lower you bend and the closer your front foot is to the back will determine how high you go. After bending you nee's stomp your back foot as hard as you can. Once you see or hear the back of the board hit the ground simultaneously slide your front foot up as high as you can and JUMP!
Step4
Before landing put your feet back to the position were you started before. When you land bend your nee' s again and role away.

Tips & Warnings

  • bend your nee' s
  • stomp hard
  • If you fall get back up and try again
  • There's something called chicken foot it's when you land with one foot on the board. This is because your not sure of yourself in olieing. When I started it happened to me to. The way to overcome this is to reassure your self, say that you can do it. When you feel that you want to move your foot out, DON'T!!! you know you can do it show your body you can.
  • I always find skateboarding with friends boost your self-of-steem.
  • I do recommend wearing a helmet when skateboarding or would you rather were one for ever in a wheelchair watching your friend skateboard.
  • HAVE FUN!!!!!
  • DON'T!!! skateboard on the street person+car=not good
  • wear a helmet you may think it not cool but they have a vast amount of different shapes, designs, and colours.
