How to write a ti-81 windows interactive program

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • TI-81 graphing calculator
  • 889 bytes of memory

Step1
tun on the calculator.
Step2
press the program button.
(Prgm)
Step3
press the right arrow to put it in edit mode.
select a blank program.
name it wi
this is the script:

:If A=your name
:Goto B
:If A(not equals symbol)your name
:Goto D
:Lbl A
:Disp "pass"
:Input E
:If E=your password
:Goto F
:If E(not equal)your password
:Goto D
:Lbl F
:Disp "Games 1 Misc 2 Util 3"
:Disp "EXIT 0"
:Input G
:If G=1
:Goto H
:If G=2
:Goto I
:If G=3
:Goto J
:If G=0
:ClrHome
:End
:Lbl H
:Prgm# (Next Program Slot)
:Lbl I
:Prgrm#
:Lbl J
:Prgrm#

The other (3) programs should be like this:

:Prgrm#:(A B or C)
:Disp "Your Programs here with a number by them"
:Disp "0 to exit"
:Input A
:If A=#
:Goto B
:Lbl B
:Prgrm#

And so-on, You Add as many Gotos and Lbls(labels) as you need.

Tips & Warnings

  • all of the commands are in menus Like this: Disp=prgm button, I/O,1: (disp) input prgm-I/O-2 (input) ClrHome prgm-I/O-3 (ClrHome) Lbl prgm-CTL-1 (Lbl) Goto prgm-CTL-2 (Goto) If prgm-CTL-3 (If) End prgm-CTL-7 (End) Prgrm#/_ (a selected program) prgm-EXE-select program = (equals symbol) 2nd Key-math (key)-1 (equals) (not equals symbol) 2nd key-math (key)-2 (not equals)
  • to type letters you need to turn on A-Lock to do this Press the 2nd key then the alpha key.
  • You should categorize things (i.e games, miscellaneous, Utilities.)
  • This programs sucks up a whole lot of whole lot of memory so you may have to delete a few programs.
