How to Make Vegan French Toast

French toast is oh-so-delicious and you can please your vegan friends as well when you know how to make vegan french toast.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • small package of silken tofu (or half of the large size)
  • 1/2 cup non-dairy milk (soy, rice, almond, etc.)
  • 1t vanilla
  • 1t cinnamon
  • bread (enough for everyone)
  • non-stick skillet
  • blender or food processor
  1. Step 1

    Pre-heat your skillet to a medium high temperature.

  2. Step 2

    Using your food processor or blender, blend the tofu, "milk", vanilla, and cinnamon until it is an almost-liquid consistency. Place in a bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Dip the bread into the mixture. Soak it and make sure that all parts of the bread gets dipped.

  4. Step 4

    Place the bread on the skillet and cook about three minutes, until the side facing down is slightly browned. Then flip and cook the other side until browned.

  5. Step 5

    Serve with your favorite toppings!
