You have a website, it's all up and running, but now you'd like to add a page to sell a product from but don't want to make it a major headache or expense. I will show you how to use a PayPal button generator to sell your product with.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • HTML editor
  • Some technical saavy

Step1
You will have to have a PayPal account to get paid by using a button system. I have a link where you can buy the software to create your own buttons to sell products. It's available here:

Step2
After you download the software, unzip it and open it.
Fill in the forms with your information, your email, prices, etc.
You will provide URL's for success and cancelled transactions.
Step3
Click on the "make button" button at the bottom of button generator form and a popup will launch with the code you need for your web sales page. select the copy all button to copy to your clipboard.
Open your HTML editor and insert the HTML code by using the right mouse button or using CNTRL+V to paste into the web page. Hit save and then preview the page to see if it looks right and click on the sales button to see if it loads correctly at PayPal.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can use the "Test" button to check the code linking to PayPal
  • Use at your own risk, if you sell something you are responsible to deliver that product to the customer.
