This article will give you a few options for getting jobs at exclusive events and concerts!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Whatever the employer asks for; tuxedo uniform, black shoes, all black attire, etc.
  1. Step 1

Get the resources available to obtain these jobs.
    -Craigslist, online
-Temp Services, local phone book or online search
-Caterers, local phone book, or online search
(Start this process 2-3 months before any event you know you would like to work and be sure to keep an open schedule around that time.)

  2. Step 2

-Go to cragislist, go to gigs section and click on events. Click pay gigs (if you want to be paid) and search keywords (ex: fashion, banquet, event names, local entertainment arena or hall).

  3. Step 3

-Contact the Temporary services and Caterers in your area, or the city you want to work in. Ask them specifically if they staff for concerts and special events! Apply/Register with them and they will notify you of employment. If you don't hear from them in two weeks, call them!!

Tips & Warnings
  • When you get to the event ask the other employees how they heard about the job. They may have better leads for better events!
  • It helps to have a customer service/service oriented background
  • It also helps to have a security certificate of some sort or be really large!
  • These jobs are usually behind the scenes. It is not glamorous, but you will be at the event!
  • These jobs are usually long hours on your feet. Invest in good shoes.
  • DONT FREAK OUT ON CELEBRITIES, you will be sent home for being star struck! Enjoy the scene, but don't embarrass yourself!
