Are you tired of constantly cleaning and feel like the household chores never cease or get easier? This article will give you a few ideas on how to decrease those chores leaving you more alone time and quality family time to enjoy.
Create a chore chart. This will depend on your household size and if you have children of age to help out. If you do, creat your own chart and keep it in the kitchen. Let the children pick a few chores or choose for them.
Step2
Be sure to have a rewarding system. When the children do their chores well and for a certain time, they get a reward. This will help them appreciate helping out more.
Step3
Follow through. You have to be willing to stick with picking up after yourself and whoever else in order to make it work. When you see something out of place, instead of ignoring it, letting the room get worse, hurry and put it in it's place when you go by.
Step4
Keep items in their designated rooms or places. Try not to drag something into another room unless you know it will get put back. Sometimes using the items where they are stored, is alot easier than taking it elsewhere and dreading putting it away later.
Step5
Keep certain rooms off limits at certain times. If you children, you know how it can be to clean up more than one room at a time. Make a room off limits that usualy ends up the messiest by the end of the day. Choose a certain time of day and cut it off.
Tips & Warnings
Encourage the family to stick with the plan as well as you.
