2. Arguably the fastest growing method of learning the French language is to do it online. Some of these courses are free others do charge. Many French language programs that are online will concentrate on grammar and the conversational aspect of the language. Whether you are a beginner, have some basic knowledge or an advanced learner there is a course online for you. With most of these French language courses you can learn at your own pace.

You are advised to look for courses that offer practice sessions, French writing skills, listening skills, pronunciation, spelling, and ways to build your vocabulary. Some will also offer you sessions where you will use email, instant messenger or video conferencing for conversational French.
