How to Wash Britches

Show britches are best cleaned if taken to a professional dry cleaner but due to time and money this is not always the easiest solution. Britches can be washed at home with the correct detergent, settings and methods and still be clean enough for showing.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Woolite
• Glycerin stain stick

1. Spot any stains with a glycerin stain stick lightly.

2. Flip the britches inside out and connect any velcro attachments.

3. Place the washer on the gentle cycle and cold water. Front load washers are preferable.

4. Add the Woolite detergent by gently adding it to the water stream filling the washer.

5. Dry the britches by either air drying them on top of a working dryer or dry them on the air dry setting on a dryer.
