You will be amazed at the fact that you can have wonderful, delicious tasting home made ice-cream, ready to eat, in minutes. This can be a family affair also. Call in the children, and make a favorite memory; one that will last a life time. Additionally, when children are in the kitchen, take extra precautions to prevent injury and accidents. Assist with each step in the ice-cream making process. Work the blender yourself to help prevent injury to children. Also, if the children make a mess by dropping an egg or two, laugh about it, and clean it up. We don't want children crying over spilled milk, I mean eggs. Besides, we are making a favorite memory, not a bad one. As always, my prayer for you and your loved ones is to remain healthy and safe, become wealthy, and grow wiser.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Ice Chips
  • 1 can Carnation sweet condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • Blender
  • Favorite toppings

Step1
1. Gather ingredients.
2. Set up the blender.
3. Separate the two yokes for the egg whites. Place in bowl.
4. Fill a bowl with ice chips.
5. Open the can of Carnation sweet condensed milk.
Step2
Are you getting this? 1. Combine the two egg yokes and sugar in a bowl. Blend together thoroughly. If this step is not done thoroughly, your egg yokes will remain clumped together.
2. Add the Carnation sweet condensed milk.
3. Add the vanilla.
4. Mix the Carnation sweet condensed milk and other ingredients thoroughly.
Step3
1. Fill the blender 1/3 full with Carnation mixture.
2. Continue to fill the blender with ice chips.
3. Place the lid on the blender and blend on one of the highest speeds.
4. Add more ice chips until the mixture reaches the consistency that you desire.
5. Place remaining mixture in the freezer for another time.
6. Dish out the home made ice-cream and garnish with your favorite toppings.
7. The home made ice cream is ready to eat.

YUM, YUM, YUM IN MY TUM, TUM ,TUM.

Tips & Warnings

  • The children can do a lot of this project with your assistance. This could be another one of those 'quality time' moments. You will be making more than ice-cream. You will be making a memory. Wonderful!
  • Be careful with the blender. I am always afraid I will drop a spoon in the blender with it going. How horrible a thought!
  • Some people heat their ice-cream mixture before beginning to make the ice-cream. The philosophy behind this step is that the heat kills any bacteria which may have been in the egg. Not a bad idea.
