Forever and a day, and then some, people have been having trouble in their romantic relationships. Sometimes two people enter into a relationship that was never meant to be. Other times they just need to find resolution to conflicting issues so they can continue to live in harmony together. Find out if your relationship is in trouble and resolve the issues using these steps.

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging
Step1
Identify the issues surrounding conflict. You can not resolve a thing until you know what is causing these troubles in your relationship.
Step2
Set a time to speak personally with your partner. The only way you will be able to work out any problems is if you sit down with each other and nail them down.
Step3
Do not interrupt during your conversations regarding the conflicts. Even if you disagree with what the other person has to say, hear them out, do not interject and heighten the issue.
Step4
Find resolution through compromise. Usually most problems can be resolved, but it may take a great deal of compromise on both ends. If you are willing to both compromise and resolve your differences great, otherwise it might be time to move on.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you think there is a way to work things out, do so.
  • Do not rush to any conclusions, rely on facts, this is your relationship so tread carefully.
