How to Avoid Catching a Cold

Every winter season the common cold virus rolls in right along side the storm fronts. People get sick in masses and call into work. But there are easy ways to avoid becoming just another sniffling mess and here is how.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Airborne tablets
Step1
Steer clear of those who are already sick. The surest way to avoid catching the cold is to not come into contact with those who are infected. That means telling your friends to wait to come over until they are fully recovered.
Step2
Immunize yourself if you come into contact with those who are sick. If you do happen to come into contact with an infected person, you must immediately seek to immunize your body. While there is no cure for the common cold, you can prevent it by super charging your immune system using AirBorne tablets which are available at most grocery stores and pharmacies.
Step3
Drink plenty of orange juice and tea. These two substances are rich in antioxidants, which help increase the effectiveness of your immune system. Drink plenty of these if you have come into contact with an infected person.
Step4
Do not drink or smoke. Cease drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking tobacco until you have fully recovered; both of these substances greatly hinder the recovery process.

on 1/28/2008 Spraying your bathroom, door handles, your phone, etc etc ( with Lysol disinfectant or some other germ and viruse killer )would probably help also. I find that it is sometimes quite difficult to avoid the cold. Good advice though.
